thanks very much for answering your pager and giving your input lia.

leftwinger, i know he didn't primarily use the rhodes, but after the hiatus i'm pretty sure he used nothing but his rhodes. i also know that with the WOS, keith's piano had two pickups, with half the signal going to the pa, and half going to the monitor system. this produced a much better sound than if they just played mics by the piano. he also used a wah-wah at times, but i don't think the sound was from that. i also remember reading at some point that the piano pickups were charged with an extremely high voltage, which would often crackle in humid conditions, which makes perfect sense. iowa is known to have VERY humid summers, which is when this show was played.

Does any other band raise these kind of questions?
